Palio di Siena is Italy's most famous horse race, dating back to 1633. It is one of the country's most anticipated cultural events — with bareback horse riders from 17 contrades competing in their district colors for the glory of the Drappellone. • If there is inclement weather, the Palio will be postponed to the next day. However, tickets are non-transferable nor refundable after the first postponement
• 50% deposit is required upon booking
• Reservations cancelled within 15 days from arrival will be subject to penalty fee equal to 100% of the stay.
