The birds of the Discovery Islands are truly marvelous, soaring in open sky, fluttering from branch to branch, wading by the shoreline and swooping over river estuaries. The Discovery Islands provide some of the most amazing wildlife viewing on the Pacific coast. Dozens of bald eagles and other birds swirl over the rapids and swoop down to pluck fish from the whirlpools, while stellar sea lions, Dall's porpoises, and Pacific white-sided dolphins gather in nearby waters to feed. During the summer, killer whales occasionally visit the channels surrounding Sonora Island, offering some of the best whale watching opportunities in the world. Other less common visitors include humpback, grey and minke whales and elephant seals.Our eco adventure and whale watching boat, the Eagle Master, is an open 28ft inflatable boat capable of speeds of 40 knots or 70kms an hour. The Eagle Master carries up to twelve guests and is equipped with a hydrophone and headset system. Headphones enable you to listen to whale songs and other under-sea sounds, as well as the narration of our experienced wilderness guides.

You can travel to Storey Creek Golf Course by helicopter, or a combination of boat and bus or seaplane and bus. The Storey Creek Golf Course is situated in a beautiful forest with ponds and salmon streams. It is an 18 hole, par 72 course with all of the amenities, including a pro shop, restaurant and clubhouse.
